Online applications are invited for admission to the 57,000 seats in 466 colleges/ institutions of the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Regular course. Brief details of the notification released by KU are as under:
Name of the Course: B.Ed. (Regular) One Year.
No. of Seats: 57000
Eligibility: Graduation/ Post Graduation with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST/ PH/ VI/ HI candidates)
Selection Procedure: There will be NO ENTRANCE TEST; the admissions are to be given on the basis of Merit only.
Fee Structure: Govt. /Govt. Aided/ University Maintained Colleges>> Rs. 12,000/- and Self Financed Colleges >> Rs. 44,000/- plus other annual charges ranging between Rs. 1,460/- and Rs. 4,305/-
Dates for applying Online: Candidates can apply online from 16/08/2012 to 27/08/2012 (Phase-I for admission to Govt. / Govt. Aided/ University Maintained Colleges) and from 16/08/2012 to 04/09/2012 (Phase-II for admission to Self-Financed colleges)
Registration /Counselling Fee: Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 625/- for SC/ BC/ PH candidates)
