Council of Scientific & Industrial Research-CSIR will hold the Joint CSIR-UGC test for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) & NET on 23/12/2011 (Sunday) for which the OMR application form and information bulletin will be available in the designated branches of Indian Bank and Oriental Bank of Commerce from 21/08/2012 to 18/09/2012. Some important points are as follows:
Subjects: Chemical Sciences, Earth Sciences, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences, Engineering Sciences.
Eligibility: M.Sc. or Equivalent degree under the subjects mentioned above, with minimum 55% marks for General & OBC candidates; 50% for SC/ST candidates, Physically and Visually Handicapped candidates and Ph.D. degree holders who had passed Master's degree prior to 19th September 1991.
Age Limits: For JRF, Maximum 28 Years (relaxation of 5 years to SC/ST/OBC non-creamy), For Lecturer ship: Minimum 19 years as on 01/07/2012.
Fees: Rs.400/- for General Category, Rs. 200/- for OBC (Non-Creamy layer), Rs. 100/- for SC/ ST/ PH/ VH.
How to apply: The applications can be submitted offline or online from 21/08/2012 to 19/09/2012. Last date of receipt of duly completed OMR application / hard copy of Online application form, with all the enclosures to the Sr. Controller of the Examinations, Examination Unit, HRDG, CSIR complex, Library Avenue, Pusa, New Delhi - 110012 is 24/09/2012 (01/10/2012 for the candidates from remote areas)
