Applications are invited by Chief Postmaster General of Haryana Circle for Direct recruitment to the posts of Postal Assistants and Sorting Assistants in the Department of Posts under Govt. of India. Brief details of the advertisement are as follows:
Postal Assistant: 118 Posts (General-62, SC-13, OBC-28, ESM-11, PH-04)
Sorting Assistant: 26 Posts (General-14, SC-02, OBC-04, ESM-06)
Postal Assistant (Saving Bank Control Organisation): 06 Posts (General-03, OBC-03)
Pay Scale: 5200-20200 plus Grade Pay 2400/-
Eligibility: 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board with
at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ OBC); Typing speed of 30/25 w.p.m. in English/ Hindi respectively.Age Limits: 18-27 Years (Relaxation as per norms)
Selection Process: Written Examination followed by Computer/ Typing Test and then Aptitude Test (Interview)
