applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the 2461 posts of
Group-D. Brief details of the advertisement are as follows:
Nature of the Post: Group D
- Trackman (Engineering): 313 Posts (UR-156, OBC-87, SC-47, ST-23)
- Pointsman-B (Operating): 661 Posts (UR-331, OBC-181, SC-100, ST-49)
- Helper-II (Engg., Mechanical, Electrical, Workshop & Stores): 1481 Posts (UR-744, OBC-404, SC-222, ST-111)
- Station Peon/ Peon (Commercial/ Workshop): 06 Posts (UR-03, OBC-01, SC-01, ST-01)
Age Limits: 18-33 Years as on
01/01/2013 (Relaxation as per norms for reserved categories)
Educational Qualifications: 10th/ ITI pass from
a recognised Board/University.
Application Fee: Rs. 40/- for UR/
OBC candidates only. Reserved category and women candidates are exempted from
payment of fees. Application fee is to be paid through a Demand Draft favouring
FA&CAO, South-Eastern Railways, Kolkata payable at Kolkata.
