Directorate of Education, Government of Nation Capital Territory, Delhi invites applications from eligible candidates who wish to work as a Guest Teacher at the levels of PGT/ Lecturer, TGT in various subjects, Assistant Teacher, Nursery Teacher in Schools of Delhi. Brief details of the advertisement are as follows:
Qualifications: PGT >> Masters’ Degree and B.Ed., TGT >> Bachelors’ Degree and B.Ed., Assistant Teacher >> 10+2 and Two years Diploma in Elementary Education, Nursery Teacher >> 10+2 and Diploma in NTT.
Compulsory Condition: Only CTET (Central Teachers’ Eligibility Test) qualified candidates can apply for the posts of Assistant Teacher and TGT.
Remuneration:
PGT >> Rs. 150/- per period subject to a maximum of Rs. 18000/- p.m.; TGT >> Rs. 120/- per period subject to a maximum of Rs. 15000/- p.m.; Assistant Teacher/ NTT >> Rs. 380/- per day subject to a maximum of Rs. 9500/- p.m.
Age Limits:
PGT >> Max. 36 Years; TGT >> Max. 32 Years (10 Years relaxation for females); Assistant Teacher >> Max. 30 Years.
Tenure of Service: Till 10th May, 2013 or till Regular appointments, whichever comes earlier.
Criterion for Selection: Selection will be made on Merit basis depending upon the academic performance. Marks of CTET will not be considered for Selection.
