The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) invites
applications from eligible candidates who wish to appear for the Central
Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) which is compulsory for a person to be eligible
for appointment as a teacher for classes I to VIII. The CTET (July-2013) will
be held on 28/07/2013. Brief details of the advertisement are as follows:
- Eligibility for Teacher of Class I-V (Primary Stage): Senior Secondary or equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR Senior Secondary or equivalent with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002 OR Senior Secondary or equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR Senior Secondary or equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
- Eligibility for Teacher of Class VI-VIII (Elementary Stage): Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) OR Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B. Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard OR Senior Secondary or equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. El. Ed) OR Senior Secondary or equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A/ B. Sc. Ed or B.A. Ed/ B. Sc. Ed. OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).
Schedule
of Examination: The examination will be held on 28/07/2013. The
paper-I for Primary Stage teacher will be from 10.30 am to 12.00 noon and
paper-II for Elementary Stage teacher will be conducted from 1.30 pm to 3.00
pm.
Application
Fee: Rs. 500/-
for only paper-I or II and Rs. 800/- for both papers (SC/ ST/ PWD
candidates will have to pay only half of the total fee) to be paid through
Debit/ Credit Card or Payment Challan in Syndicate Bank/e-Post Office in favour
of Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi.

Online, the candidates should send the Hard Copy of System Generated
