State Bank of India invites applications from eligible Indian Citizens for appointment as Probationary Officers (PO). Candidates selected will be liable to be posted anywhere in India. The summarized details of advertisement are as follows:
Total Posts: 1030 (UR=505, OBC=270, SC=150, ST=75, PWD=30)
Emoluments: Starting basic pay is Rs. 16,900/- in the scale of Rs.14500-600/7-18700-700/2 -20100-800/7-25700 plus D.A., H.R.A. & C.C.A. as per rules in force from time to time. At present, initial monthly emoluments of Probationary Officers, including DA, HRA. and CCA, are approximately Rs. 27,800/- at Metropolitan centres.
Qualification: Graduate from a recognized University in any discipline.
Age: Candidate should be born between 02/05/1981 and 01/05/1990(Both dates Inclusive). Relaxation in age limits will be as per norms for reserved categories.

Way to apply: Candidates are required to download the CASH VOUCHER (fee payment voucher) for payment of the application fee from Bank’s website www.sbi.co.in and to pay the amount of prescribed fees (Rs.500/- for General, Rs.50/- for SC/ST/PWD plus postage and get the receipt. Application fees are to be paid between 18-05-2011 to 07-06-2011.Then, the candidates should APPLY ONLINE. Dates for Online application are 18/05/2011 to 09/06/2011.
