Coal India Limited (CIL) requires young, energetic, dynamic and skilled Management Trainees in different disciplines. The details are as under –
01.          MT (Mining) : 319 Posts, Qualification: BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc in relevant branch of Engineering with minimum 60% marks
02.          MT (Electrical): 159 Posts, BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc in relevant branch of Engineering with minimum 60% marks
03.          MT (Mechanical): 145 Posts, BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc in relevant branch of Engineering with minimum 60% marks
04.          MT (Civil): 50 Posts, BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc in relevant branch of Engineering with minimum 60% marks
05.          MT (Chemical/Mineral): 20 Posts, BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc in relevant branch of Engineering with minimum 60% marks
06.          MT (Electronics & Telecommunications): 07 Posts, BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc in relevant branch of Engineering with minimum 60% marks
07.          MT (Industrial Engg.): 09 Posts, BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc in relevant branch of Engineering with minimum 60% marks
08.          MT (System): 10 Posts, Minimum 60% marks in BE/ B.Tech/ BSc. (Engg) in Computer Science/ Computer Engg. / IT or MCA with minimum 60% marks.
09.          MT (Environment): 130 Posts, Degree in Environmental Engg. with minimum 60% marks Or any Engg. Degree with PG Degree/Diploma in Environmental Engg from a recognized University/Institute with minimum 60% marks
10.          MT (Geology): 31 Posts, M. Sc/ M. Tech. in Geology or Applied Geology with minimum 60% marks
11.          MT (Geophysics): 06 Posts, M. Sc/ M. Tech. in Geophysics or Applied Geophysics with minimum 60% marks
12.          MT (Materials Management): 17 Posts, Engineering degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engg with MBA/ PG Diploma in Management with minimum 60% marks
13.          MT (Finance & Accounts): 133 Posts, Qualified CA / ICWA
14.          MT (Personnel & HR): 136 Posts, MBA (specialization in HR) with minimum 60% marks or Master degree/ PG Diploma (minimum 60%) in Social Science or Labour Welfare / Personnel management or any other qualification recognized by the Labour Ministry for the post of Welfare Officer in mines with minimum 60% marks
15.          MT (Sales & Marketing): 19 Posts, MBA /PG Diploma in Management with specialization in Marketing (major) from Institute / University with minimum 60% marks
16.          MT Rajbhasha (Hindi): 06 Posts, MA in Hindi with min 60% marks and Graduation with Hindi and English as main subjects with minimum 50% marks

Compensation / Pay - E1 grade in the scale of pay of Rs. 16,400 – 40,500 at the initial Basic of Rs. 16400/- during the First year (Training) and E2 grade in the scale of pay of Rs. 20,600 – 46,500 at the initial Basic of Rs.20,600/- with probation for 1 year

Age: Maximum 30 years as on 31/03/2011 (Relaxation as per norms)

Application Fees: Rs. 500/- (Non-refundable) for all candidates except SC, ST, PH and Departmental candidates, who are totally exempted from fees.
