Public Notice regarding Haryana Teachers Eligibility Test-2011


All candidates who are applying or willing to apply for HTET-2011 are advised to note some important instructions regarding HTET application:
1.  Due to large number of applicants, the sale counters on Haryana Board District Coordination Centres will remain open on Saturday and Sunday (6-7 August, 2011) instead of holiday.
2.  The candidates who are applying for Category-I (Class 1-5) and Category-II (Class 6-8) both should note that there is a column in the application form, which is as “To be filled in only by candidates applying for both categories 1 & 2. Mention the Application No. of other category”. This column will help you to have the same Examination Centre for both papers. If you don’t mention the application no. of other category, you may face the problem of taking examination in different centres, which can result even “An ABSENT” in one of the papers due to shortage of time to reach the other centre before commencement of second shift. So, please don’t forget to fill in the application no. of category-I in form for category-II and vice-versa.
3. The candidates applying for category-II (Class 6-8) to become a LANGUAGE TEACHER of any language e.g. Hindi, Sanskrit, Punjabi, Urdu etc. should note that Article 5.2 in HTET prospectus clarifies the eligibilities and scheme of examination determined by NCTE and accordingly there is a column in application form which is as “Teacher for 6-8, Select One Subject”. The candidates willing to apply for HTET (Language Teacher) are advised to darken the circle in front of the subject “Languages”. This circle contains ‘26’ written inside it. Such candidates, after qualifying HTET shall be eligible for recruitment to the post of Language Teacher.
4. Candidates willing to appear for HTET in Category-II for subjects Physical Education and Home Science etc. should refer to Article 5.2, Column (iv) of HTET prospectus.
