Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) IBPS House, Post Box No.8587, Kandivali (East), Mumbai, an autonomous body, which has been authorised by the IBA to to conduct the written test for recruitment of Clerical Cadre posts twice a year. A Common Written Examination (CWE) will be conducted on 27/11/2011 by IBPS for Clerical Cadre posts in the following 19 Public Sector Banks:
Allahabad Banks, Andhra Bank, Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Canara Bank, Central Bank of India, Corporation Bank, Dena Bank, Indian Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Punjab National Bank, Punjab & Sind Bank, Syndicate Bank, Union Bank of India, United Bank of India, UCO Bank, Vijaya Bank.
The successful candidates will be given a scorecard they may apply to any of the participating bank when they advertise their job vacancy.
Eligibility for CWE of Clerical posts :
Age: 18-28 years as on 01/08/2011, (Relaxation as per rules for SC/ST/OBC/ PH/ ESM)
Qualification: 60% marks in Matric/ SSC/ SSLC/ 10th standard (For SC/ ST/ OBC/ PH/ ESM only Pass marks are sufficient) OR 50% marks in HSC/ 11th of 10+1+3 pattern (For SC/ ST/ OBC/ PH/ ESM only Pass marks are sufficient)
Application Fee : Rs.350/- (Rs.50/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates) can be paid from 24/08/2011 to 23/09/2011 either online at the time of filling the application form online OR be deposited in CBS branches of 6 selected banks out of 19 banks.
How to Apply: Candidates are required to apply Only Online at IBPS website from 25/08/2011 to 24/09/2011 only.
