Trainee Marine engineer in Shipping Corporation of India

Shipping Corporation of India invites applications from Unmarried Male/ Female Graduate Mechanical Engineers/Naval Architects for Recruitment as Trainee Marine Engineer. The summerized details of the advertisement are as follows:

Educational Qualifications:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Naval Architecture with minimum 50% marks in Final year from an AICTE Approved Engineering college. Atleast 50% marks in English at 10th or 10+2 Level. Final year / semester students who appeared in the exam and expect their results by 31/07/2011 may also apply.

Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on 01/01/2012. Age relaxation of 2 years for women candidates.

Duration of Training and Course Fees:

The training is for 1 year and fees is approximately Rs.3,00,000/- (Approx. Rs. Three Lacs only).

Selection Process: Eligible candidates will be required to appear in the All India written Test at New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai (likely to be held on 31/07/2011) and only candidates qualifying in the written test will be called for Personal Interview in the ratio of 1:3. The date of written examination shall be subsequently intimated

Application Fees: Rs.1000/- for General/ OBC candidate’s and Rs.500/- for SC & ST candidate’s in the form of Demand Draft to be drawn in favour of The Shipping Corporation Of India Ltd, Mumbai, Payable at Mumbai
