NIT, Kurukshetra invites the applications for the posts of Assistant Professors on contract basis in the following streams:
Civil, Electrical, Mechanical/ Industrial Engineering & Management, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering /Information Technology:
Eligibility: M. Tech. with First class. The candidates possessing this qualification shall be paid a consolidated salary of Rs. 30,000/- PM. In case of non-availability of M.Tech. candidates, the candidates having B.Tech. with First class may be considered for appointment. However, B.Tech. qualified candidates shall be paid consolidated salary of Rs. 25,000/- PM.
Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Humanities & Social Sciences (English/ Economics/ Management):
Eligibility: First class in Masters Degree in the relevant field. The candidates must be UGC/CSIR NET qualified or Equivalent Test accredited by UGC or SLET/SET.
Business Administration (MBA):
Eligibility: First Class Masters degree in Business Management/Administration in relevant discipline or First Class in two year full time/three year part-time PGDM accredited by AICTE/UGC. The candidates should have cleared the NET of UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
Computer Applications (MCA):
Eligibility: First Class in MCA/ M.Tech in CS/CA. The candidates should have cleared the NET of UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
