Assistant Commandant jobs in Indian Coast Guard (March-2012)

The Indian Coast Guard invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts of ASSISTANT COMMANDANT (Group ‘A’ Gazetted Officer) in the pay scale of Rs.15600-39100 with grade pay Rs 5400/-. Registration and Preliminary Selection will be carried out on the spot at Mumbai, Chennai Kolkata and Noida for the the following posts:

Special Recruitment Drive for SC/ST

1. Assistant Commandant General Duty (GD) Male: Qualification- Bachelor Degree with 60% marks and minimum 60% marks in Maths and Physics aggregate in 10+2; Age- Born between 01/07/82 and 30/06/91

2. Assistant Commandant General Duty (Pilot & Navigator) Male/Female Unmarried: Qualification- B.Sc with Maths and Physics with 55% marks and minimum 60% marks in 10+2; Age- Born between 01/07/80 and 30/06/93

3. Assistant Commandant-Technical (Electrical/ Electronics) Male: Qualification- Degree in Electrical/ Telecommunication & Electronics with 60% marks and minimum 60% marks in 10+2; Age- Born between 01/07/77 and 30/06/91

All Categories (Gen/ SC/ST/OBC)

1. Assistant Commandant General Duty (GD) Women Unmarried: Qualification- Bachelor Degree with 60% marks and minimum 60% marks in Maths and Physics aggregate in 10+2; Age- Born between 01/07/87 and 30/06/91

2. Assistant Commandant - Technical (Electrical/ Electronics) Male: Degree with 60% marks in aggregate in Naval architecture / Mechanical/ Marine/Design/ Production /Aeronautical/ Auto motive / Mechtronics / Industrial and Production/ Metallurgy/ Design / Aeronautical / Aerospace/ Control & Production and minimum 60% in 12th Std of 10+2+3 scheme of education OR passed sections 'A' and 'B' of Institute of Engineers (India) examination in any of the discipline listed above with minimum 60% marks; Age- Born between 01/07/82 and 30/06/91
