Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of School Education & Literacy, Government of India, invites applications in the prescribed format for the posts of Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs) of English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies in the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas located in various districts of the country.
PAY SCALE: Rs. 9300-34800 plus Grade Pay Rs. 4600
AGE LIMIT: Maximum 35 Years (As on 30/09/2011)
QUALIFICATIONS: 4 years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject as well as in the aggregate. OR A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from a recognized University with 50% marks or above in aggregate as well as in the concerned subject.
B.Ed. or equivalent from a recognized University.
Qualified CTET- Central Teacher Eligibility Test (Paper - II) conducted by CBSE.
Application Fees: Only General/ OBC candidates are required to pay Rs. 500/- in the form of a Demand Draft in the favour of “Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti” payable at Chandigarh. Candidates belonging to categories other than GEN/ OBC need not pay any fee.
