Education Officers in Central Board for Workers Education


Central Board For Workers Education (CBWE) sponsored by the Ministry of Labour and
Employment, Government of India, set up in 1958 for imparting education to workers and their representatives in subjects like Industrial Relations, Trade Union Canorousness, Leadership Development, Management of Trade Union activities etc. Applications are invited for the posts of Education Officers in Central Board for Workers Education.

Education Officers: 57 posts

Pay Scale: A stipend of Rs. 2000/- per month in 5 Months Training period and then in Pay scale of Rs.9300-34800 plus Grade Pay Rs.4200/-
Note: At present the existing Education Officers are placed in the pay scale of Rs. 15600-39100+ Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-) in accordance with Hon’ble CAT, Kolkata and the same has been challenged in High court and a decision is awaited in this regard. The revision of pay scale is subject to the decision of Hon’ble High Court.

Eligibility: A Second Class Master’s Degree of a recognized University in Economics, social Work, Sociology, Industrial Relation and Personnel Management, Political Science, MBA with specialization in Industrial Relations/ Personnel Management with at least 50% marks.
OR
Masters Degree with at least 40% marks in aggregate in one of the subjects at (a) above and with 3 years experience as office bearer or registered Trade Union or a Worker Teacher/Trainer/Rural Educator/Volunteer under the CBWE with 3 years experience.

Age Limits: 28 Years (Relaxation for reserved categories as per norms)

Application Fee:  Demand Draft of Rs.200/- (SC/ST Rs. 100/-) drawn in favor of the ‘Director, Central Board for Workers Education, Nagpur’ payable at Nagpur.
