It is really very good news for Haryana people that they will not need wandering about the government offices for their certain tasks. Haryana government has issued the new Time Bound Policy for some particular tasks like Issuance of Ration Card, Driving License, Electricity Connection, Registry of Land etc. This policy will be effective from 21st of June, 2011. The letter no. 7/6/2011-3 AR from the table of Chief Secretary, Haryana says: If some office remains unable to complete a certain task within the time period fixed for the same, the concerned officer will be responsible for it and disciplinary action will be taken against him/ her. This letter has caused the mental imbalance for the corrupt officers and employees.
According to new policy, departments/ offices shall be liable to complete the public tasks within 3 to 30 days. The concerned Heads of offices shall monitor the whole process. The time bound for some public tasks, according to new policy is mentioned below:
Food & Supplies Department:
New Ration Card = 15 Days, Duplicate ration Card = 7 Days, Entry of New member = 7 Days, Address Change = 3 Days, Surrender Certificate = SAME DAY
Electricity Department:
New Connection = 30 Days, Load Change = 30 Days
Public Health department:
Water Supply/ Sewerage Connection = 12 Days
Motor Vehicles:
Learner Driving License = 5 Days, Permanent D/L = 7 Days, Light Vehicles R/C = 7 Days
Revenue Department:
Registry of Land = SAME DAY, Name Transfer = 5 Days, Copy of Land Record = 5 Days
Others:
Caste Certificate = 7 Days, Residence Certificate/ Domicile = 7 Days, Birth/ Death Certificate = 3 Days, Building Plan Approval = 25 Days
