राजस्थान में पदोन्नति से वरिष्ठ अध्यापक बनने वाले अध्यापकों को 4200 और 4800 ग्रेड पे देने की स्थिति अब स्पष्ट हो गई है। प्रमुख शासन सचिव, स्कूल एवं संस्कृत शिक्षा वीनू गुप्ता ने अलग अलग वेतनमान लागू होने के समय पदोन्नति वालों को चयनित वेतनमान स्वीकृति के लिए एक स्पष्टीकरण जारी किया है जिसके अनुसार 6500-10500 द्वितीय चयनित वेतनमान लेने के बाद तृतीय श्रेणी से जुलाई 1989 से पहले वरिष्ठ अध्यापक पदोन्नत होने वालों को 6500-10500 वरिष्ठ वेतनमान अनुमत किया गया था। ऐसे वरिष्ठ अध्यापकों को तीसरा एसीपी 4800 ग्रेड पे मिलेगा। जुलाई 1989 से जून 1998 की अवधि में तृतीय श्रेणी से वरिष्ठ अध्यापक बनने वाले और एक सितंबर 2006 से पहले वरिष्ठ

इंजीनियर बनने के लिए स्टूडेंट्स को अब बोर्ड एग्जाम में भी अच्छी परफॉरमेंस दिखानी होगी। सीबीएसई ने देश के मुख्य इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेजों में दाखिले के लिए संयुक्त प्रवेश परीक्षा (JEE) के साथ साथ बारहवीं कक्षा के अंकों को भी शामिल करने का निर्णय लिया है। इन दोनों परीक्षाओं के आधार पर ही आल इंडिया रैंक निर्धारित की जाएगी। वहीं AIEEE और IIT की परीक्षा को भी अलग अलग कर दिया गया है। इससे विद्यार्थी को मनपंसद कॉलेज में एडमिशन के लिए पहले से ज्यादा मेहनत करनी पड़ेगी। सीबीएसई ने इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेजों में प्रवेश परीक्षा को इस बार दो वर्गों में विभाजित किया है। इसमें एक परीक्षा को संयुक्त प्रवेश परीक्षा (JEE Main) और दूसरी को JEE Advanced परीक्षा का नाम दिया है। इसके साथ ही दोनों परीक्षाओं के लिए नियम कड़े तय किए हैं।

राजस्थान रोडवेज की चालक, परिचालक और आर्टीजन की रद्द की गयी परीक्षाएं अब 30 दिसंबर, 2012 को आयोजित होंगी। गौरतलब है कि 23 सितंबर,2012 को भर्ती परीक्षा हुई थी। लेकिन तब पेपर आउट होने से परीक्षा निरस्त की गई थी (यहाँ पढ़िए पूरा घटनाक्रम)। यह परीक्षा अब जोधपुर, जयपुर, अजमेर, उदयपुर, भरतपुर, कोटा, बीकानेर, सीकर, अलवर व झुंझनूं में होगी। उल्लेखनीय है कि जोधपुर में 23 सितंबर को परीक्षा के दिन सेक्टर सात स्थित डीआरएम रेलवे कॉलोनी के सरकारी आवास में परीक्षा का पेपर बेचने वाला गिरोह पकड़ा गया था। शास्त्री नगर पुलिस ने रेलवे आवास में छापा मार कर पेपर बेचने वाली गैंग को गिरफ्तार किया था। छापेमारी में पुलिस को चालक-परिचालक परीक्षा का हूबहू पेपर, लैपटाप, स्कैनर, फोटोस्टेट मशीन, बड़ी संख्या में पेपर पिंट्र, मोबाइल व नकदी मिली थी। इसके बाद
