राजस्थान में पंचायतीराज के तहत प्रस्तावित करीबन तेइस हजार भर्तियों में से कनिष्ठ लिपिकों के 19,515 पदों पर सीधी भर्ती की तैयारी की जा रही है। इसके लिए न लिखित परीक्षा होगी और न ही इंटरव्यू, केवल सीनियर सेकंडरी के अंकों के आधार मेरिट बनेगी और नियुक्ति दे दी जाएगी। इसे वित्त विभाग, कार्मिक विभाग और विधि विभाग की मंजूरी मिल चुकी है। अब कैबिनेट की अगली बैठक में मंजूरी लेने की तैयारी है। काबिले गौर है कि मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत ने इन पदों को भरने के लिए बजट में घोषणा की थी। कनिष्ठ लिपिकों के 165 पद जिला परिषदों, 996 पंचायत समिति और 18,354 पद ग्राम पंचायतों में भरे जाने हैं। इनके लिए अधिक शिक्षित भी आवेदन कर सकेंगे, लेकिन मेरिट का

चंडीगढ़ यूटी के शिक्षा विभाग ने सरकारी स्कूलों में कार्यरत सर्व शिक्षा अभियान (एस एस ए) के शिक्षकों के वेतन में लगभग दस हजार रुपये तक की बढ़ोतरी कर दी है। 14 दिसंबर को शिक्षा सचिव वी के सिंह की ओर से वेतन में वृद्धि के आदेश जारी कर दिए गए हैं। उक्त वेतन वृद्धि 7 सितम्बर से लागू मानी जाएगी।  पूर्व में जेबीटी शिक्षकों का वेतन 16600/- रूपए था जो अब 26900/- रूपए कर दिया गया है। इसी प्रकार टीजीटी का वेतन भी 20900/- रूपए से बढ़ाकर 30400/- रूपए कर दिया गया है। इस वेतन वृद्धि से एस एस ए के लगभग 500 शिक्षक लाभंवित होंगे।
