हरियाणा के स्कूलों में अब मिड डे  मील की गुणवत्ता की जांच करने का जिम्मा विद्यालय प्रबंधन समितियों तथा कम्युनिटी सेंटर के लोगों को दिया जायेगा। शिक्षा विभाग के अधिकारियों के इलावा अब समिति सदस्य तथा अभिभावक भी विद्यालयों में जाकर यह जांच कर पायेंगे कि बच्चों को मध्याह्न भोजन सही शेड्यूल व अच्छी क्वालिटी का मिल रहा है या नहीं। इस विषय में मानव संसाधन विकास मंत्रालय की सिफारिश पर शिक्षा विभाग ने एक सर्कुलर जारी कर सभी विद्यालय प्रबंधन समितियों को निर्देश दे दिए हैं कि समिति को कम्युनिटी के सदस्यों के साथ मिलकर एक टीम बनानी होगी और नियमित रूप से स्कूल में बनने वाले भोजन की मात्रात्मक व गुणात्मक जांच करनी होगी तथा

यूजीसी नेट के एडमिट कार्ड इस बार आवेदन के साथ ही उपलब्ध होंगे

यूजीसी द्वारा आयोजित की जाने वाली नेट/ जेआरएफ की परीक्षा की तिथि घोषित हो चुकी है। परीक्षा 30 दिसंबर को निर्धारित की गयी है। परीक्षा के लिए आवेदन की प्रक्रिया भी शुरू हो चुकी है। यूजीसी नेट की वेबसाइट के माध्यम से ऑनलाइन आवेदन किया जा सकता है। ऑनलाइन आवेदन करने की अंतिम तिथि 16 नवंबर, 2012 रखी गई है। उसके पश्चात ऑनलाइन आवेदन की हार्ड कॉपी यूनिवर्सिटी सेंटर में जमा करने की अंतिम तिथि 22 नवंबर है। पिछली  बार आई दिक्कतों के कारण इस बार यूजीसी ने आवेदकों से जल्द आवेदन करने को कहा है। जून 2012 में बड़े बदलाव के तहत नेट परीक्षा पहली बार बहु विकल्पीय पैटर्न पर आयोजित की गई थी। इस बार भी इस परीक्षा में अहम बदलाव किया गया है। इस बार ऑनलाइन फार्म भरने के साथ ही आवेदकों को एडमिट कार्ड भी मिल  जाएगा। गौरतलब है कि नेट परीक्षा के प्रवेश पत्र डाक द्वारा भेजे जाते थे, लेकिन हर बार ही आवेदक एडमिट कार्ड सही समय पर प्राप्त न होने की शिकायत करते रहे हैं। इसके कारण यूजीसी द्वारा ऑनलाइन एडमिट कार्ड देने का निर्णय लिया गया है।
