Winter vacations in Haryana from 5th January now

Haryana School Education Department today declared winter vacations for all Govt., Govt. aided and private schools from January 5, 2012 to January 16, 2012 with immediate effect.

Previously the winter vacations were scheduled from 7 to 16 January, 2012 but due to Fatal Fog, department takes the action.

Letter no. 15/9- 2010 CO (1) dated 05/1/12 from Director General, School Education Haryana says:

"Due to intense cold wave and dense fog in the region it has been decided to observe holidays in all Govt./Govt. Aided and Private Schools in the State of Haryana from 05.01.2012 to 16.01.2012. These orders be complied with in letter and spirit by all concernedand laxity in this regard shall be viewed seriously."

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for Common Law Admission Test-2012. The CLAT-2012 is being held on 13/05/2012 (Sunday) for admission to Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses in Law in 14 National Law Schools/Universities. Brief details of the notification are as follows:
