Central Board of School Education has announced the IInd CTET (Central Teachers Eligibility Test), which is going be held in January, 2012. Online applications are invited for appearing in CTET-2012 till 25/11/2011. Brief details of the advertisement are as follows:

Eligibility:
For Classes I-V: Primary Stage
10+2 or equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the any one of the following:
Final year of 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)/ final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)/ Final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR 10+2 or equivalent with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002. OR Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
For Classes VI-VIII: Elementary Stage
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). OR Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. OR 10+2 or equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR 10+2 or equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed/B.Sc.Ed. OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).
How to Apply: The online application can be made at website www.ctet.nic.in. After online registration, a confirmation page with Registration No. shall be generated. Candidates are required to take a printout of this Confirmation page and send it with a photograph pasted in the space given for the purpose by Registered/ Speed Post to CBSE at the following address:

Application Fee: Rs. 500/- for General/ OBC candidates and Rs. 250/- for SC/ ST/ Differently-abled candidates, which can be paid through the following channels:
