Appointment for two years on 641 posts of Semi Skilled Tradesmen in different

Total no. of Posts: 641 Posts (Sheet Metal Worker-170,
Welder-75, Rigger-40, Crane Operator-04, Fitter (Pipe)-131, Diesel Mechanic-46,
Fitter-30, Instrument Mechanic-18, Electrician-53, Electronic Mechanic-13, Shipwright
Wood-21, Machinist-04, Painter-36)
Emoluments: Rs. 7500/- (Consolidated) and
a maximum of Rs. 2880/- p.m. for overtime devoted.
Educational Qualifications: SSLC, ITI in relevant
trade
and NAC (National Apprenticeship Certificate)
Experience: Minimum three years
post-qualification experience in a Shipyard or an Engineering Industry.
Selection Process: Walk-in-Interview and
Practical examinations to be held from 01/11/2012 to 07/11/2012 at Cochin
Shipyard Indoor Stadium, Thevara.
