Elementary Education Department of Haryana has also directed the District Education Officers to ask the govt. schools of their district to plant the trees with the help of students and their parents. Letter no. 18,98-2010/PE-4 of Director Elementary Education, Haryana consists of the instructions which are to be passed to the school heads by the DEEO’s regarding Tree Plantation. According to this letter, the school heads are required to obtain the plants from the nearest nursery of Forest department and then to plant them with the help of children and their parents. The heads and teachers will motivate the people to adopt at least one plant necessarily and serve it. This step will prove very beneficial for our polluted environment.
